2018 and 2019 "Mini-Kickers"- A great introduction to soccer for 3 & 4 year old boys & girls with the emphasis on fun each Saturday for 8-10 weeks. Players are assigned to a team that play fun soccer activities followed by a short scrimmage at the end of the session. The Saturday sessions are a maximum of 60 minutes with lots of water breaks. Soccer patches are handed out each week based on the skills completed that week. Uniforms (jersey, shorts, socks) are provided. Uniforms are distributed before Opening Day at the midweek Mini-Kicker parent meeting on September 7th. The Season starts on Saturday September 10th, 2022. The Season ends with the famous Fall Soccer Festival. Parents should bring a size 3 soccer ball each Saturday.
2017 (U6) and 2016 (U7) - Players will be assigned to a set team and play 4v4 or 5v5 without goalkeepers. Emphasis is on implementing soccer skills learned in the optional midweek Skills Clinics. The Saturday games consist of a practice period of 30 minutes prior to the game. Saturday games consist of four (4) ten (10) minute quarters with 2-4 minute breaks. The Saturday session lasts for 90 minutes in total. All teams may play in the local circuit, with all games in Laguna Niguel, or the teams may play in a travel circuit, with half the games in Laguna Niguel and the other half at cities in Orange County. A decision will be made by the Division Director(s) in liaison with the the Coaches prior to the start of the season. Players should bring a size 5 Soccer ball. Uniforms (jersey, shorts, socks) are provided.
2007-2008 (U16) and 2004-2006 (U19) - Teams will play in the an Orange County Travel Circuit. Players should bring a size 5 Soccer ball. Uniforms (jersey, shorts, socks) are provided.
Select Program- (formerly called Signature) - Select teams play competitive games throughout Orange County (typically half of the games in Laguna Niguel). The teams are formed based on the last season roster and new tryouts held in March. The practices start in mid of July, the season games are planned for early September through mid of December.
Players need to use their own cleats, shin guards and a ball to play in these programs. Shin guards are required at all times during play.
Play-Up Requests - Parents you should ONLY select "yes " to this question during registration if you want your player to be moved UP a year to play with the next aged Division ie if your players birth year is 2016 (U7) but you believe they are advanced enough to play with the older players in 2015 (U8) and its developmental appropriate to move them UP a year, then select "yes" to the Play UP question otherwise please do not select Yes. Most of the time parents DO NOT make a play-UP request as the player is usually better playing with his age group during the Season.
For ages 2004 through 2013 additional Referee Fees may apply for Saturday Games (collected at the field)
